Welcome to our Ranch!
We're very glad you've stopped by to visit the ranch. We are located on the High Plains of
Southeastern Colorado. Half an hour to the south, you'll
find yourself in canyons so rugged nothing but a 4 wheeler, horse, or your own two feet will
get you around. We are half an hour from Kansas, 45 minutes from Oklahoma, and about an hour and a
half from Texas and New Mexico. We're right smack dab in the middle of farm and ranch country.
We still have real farmers and ranchers. People so closely tied to the land, it's in their blood,
and it's who they are.
We our dedicated to staying true to the heritage of this country. Our stock horses are bred from
foundation stock, and when we breed our Arabians, we spend hours searching over pedigrees, to ensure
we are pairing the best match possible.
RWR dabbles in many disciplines including: Western Performance, Speed Events, Wester Pleasure, Halter,
a little English, and Racing. Our primary focus is Western Performance, and RWR is home to many talented
WCH, Roping, Reining, and Cutting horses.
When considering stock from RWR, you can buy and breed in confidence. We have been in Riata since June 2006,
and have worked very hard building up our herd to what it is today. RWR stands for Quality, Intelligence, and Heritage.
Bulding on these important elements, RWR is proud to stand behind every foal we sell, and every horse we breed.
Make sure on your visit here today, you stop by the office. It's got all kinds of good information there, as well
as "RWR: A History - Where we've been, and where we're going." Also, take a stroll through our horse barns.
RWR would like to cut back on our stock, and many horses will soon be for sale.
